Paolo’s love of the land and its produce hails from his family’s business, where he played with tractors (real ones!) as a child.
Qualified in winemaking from Istituto Agrario di Bargnano (BS) agricultural college, at La Contessa he puts theory (and grapes) into practice.
Old-fashioned and principled, shy and taciturn but full of energy, Paolo knows all of the vine’s secrets and he keeps to a single calendar: Nature.
